Our members are bound together by their desire to learn about the underground wilderness and protect it for future generations

 

The Hole-in-the-Wall Grotto was established in 1975 and is an affiliated grotto of the National Speleological Society (NSS). We support the values of the NSS and promote safe and responsible caving practices, effective cave and karst management, speleology, and conservation. Membership in the NSS is not required for membership in the Hole-in-the-Wall Grotto but is strongly encouraged. (Board members must be NSS members.) Membership to the Hole-in-the-Wall Grotto requires an annual fee of $12 with memberships expiring on December 31st.

 

​Membership is open to anyone with a sincere interest in speleology. Membership ensures you will get emailed about upcoming trips, pub nights, events and our newsletter The Outlaw.
